Master the most popular betting types among Indonesian football fans
Bandar bola (online football bookmaker) platforms like pub189 offer comprehensive betting markets on major football leagues worldwide. Indonesian punters particularly favor Asian handicap betting, which originated in Asian markets and is now used globally for its balanced odds and elimination of draw outcomes. Whether you are tracking BRI Liga 1 matches featuring Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung, or following Timnas Indonesia (Garuda) in international competitions like the AFF Cup, understanding these bet types maximizes your winning potential. pub189 covers over 500 football leagues including EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, and World Cup qualifiers, with live in-play betting available during matches broadcast across Indonesia in WIB timezone.
The most popular bet type in Indonesia. One team receives a virtual goal advantage (positive handicap) while the opponent starts with a deficit (negative handicap). Example: If Manchester United is -1.5 against Nottingham Forest, United must win by 2+ goals for the bet to win. Half-goal and quarter-goal handicaps eliminate draw outcomes. Preferred by experienced judi bola (football betting) players for balanced odds on mismatched teams.
Bet on whether total goals scored by both teams will be over or under a set line (commonly 2.5 goals). Example: Persija vs Bali United with Over 2.5 wins if the match ends 2-1, 3-0, 2-2, or any scoreline with 3+ total goals. Under 2.5 wins with 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, or 2-0. Simple concept popular among casual bettors watching BRI Liga 1 or EPL matches.
Combine multiple selections (typically 3-15 matches) into one bet for exponentially higher payouts. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out. Example: combining Man City win + Barcelona win + Real Madrid win at @1.8 each creates a combined @5.83 payout. Extremely popular among Indonesian bettors for weekend EPL and Champions League slates. Higher risk, higher reward strategy favored at pub189.
The simplest football bet: pick home win (1), draw (X), or away win (2). Example: betting on Persib Bandung (1) to beat Arema FC. If Persib wins by any scoreline, the bet pays. If the match draws or Arema wins, the bet loses. Straightforward option for beginners entering bandar bola markets, commonly used for knockout tournaments where draws lead to extra time.
Bet on the exact number of goals scored in the match. Options typically include 0-1 goals, 2-3 goals, 4-6 goals, or 7+ goals. Higher payouts for less likely outcomes. Useful for matches with strong defensive records or expected high-scoring encounters. Available for BRI Liga 1, EPL, La Liga, and other major leagues on pub189's sportsbook.
Bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal each during the match. Yes wins if the final score is 1-1, 2-1, 3-2, etc. No wins if the match ends 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, etc. Popular for attacking-style leagues like EPL and Champions League. Often combined with Over/Under for enhanced odds on exciting, open matches.
Football betting should enhance your viewing experience, not create financial stress. Set a budget before placing bets, never chase losses, and remember that all bandar bola outcomes involve risk. pub189 is for adults 21+ only. If gambling becomes problematic, use our self-exclusion tools or contact support for assistance.
